Today I will be answering the question: “Can I Get Wealthy In MLM?” We’ll be diving into the relationship between Wealth and Network Marketing.
Before we talk about MLM, lets talk about Wealth – Its one of those words that has no clear definition.
We generally think of wealthy people as being lavished by riches beyond comprehension.
An abundance of valuable material possessions in great excess generally comes to mind.
But is this Wealth?
Allow me to offer up this definition of Wealth, and show why MLM is a very lucrative way to achieve it.
Wealth is a successful financial position in which sustainable income generated from assets exceeds a persons expenses which are necessary to live their particular lifestyle, over any given period of time.
So for example, if all of your monthly expenses, including mortgage, vehicle, bills, groceries, etc. totaled $2000/month, and you were generating more than $2000/month residually, you would be wealthy.
Not rich but yes, wealthy! If the bills were covered each month without needing to get up for work, to me that is freedom. And from this point, the sky is the limit.
Now, an interesting part to the above definition is the word “exceeds.” This projects that the wealthy individual will continue to strengthen their financial position. The excess money between monthly income and expenses should ideally be used to purchase additional assets, thus further powering the cycle of wealth. If you want to become wealthy, you need to acquire income-generating assets.
Still Pondering “Can I Get Wealthy in MLM?“
Absolutely Yes. I think its important to emphasize that a Network Marketing Business could eventually become your greatest asset, hands down. Now that is powerful!
Wealth can also be seen essentially as retirement. Yet, its not exactly retirement in the classical sense. Residual income, when generating enough, will enable you to say goodbye to your day-job or strenuous business.
Nobody wants to be put out to pasture though! I know I certainly will never stop learning, growing, producing, and earning. Besides, Network Marketing is far too rewarding, and way too much fun to “retire” altogether.
If you were doing something that you loved, on your terms, around your schedule… then it no longer satisfies the definition of work 🙂
Now that we have a solid definition of wealth, we can begin to examine our own goals for financial freedom. What would it mean to you and your family if you never had to worry about another bill ever again? What would you do with the extra money? Are there any causes that are close to your heart? How could you use the money to make a positive difference in this world?
MLM is a beautiful vehicle to put us all in a position to be wealthy – to be financially free, to have freedom of time, and to be in a position to help others and give back. That being said, like anything worthwhile in life, it requires hard work, consistency, and persistence. Anybody that tells you otherwise is peddling fiction.
